Default PVP Restoration Ritualist?

Hi Folks:

I made use of the Restoration Ritualist farming build found on these forums (sorry I forget the link) and tried it out in Fort Aspenwood (Kurzick) as an experiment. Kudos to whomever came up with that build because it works for farming vermin and pvp (or so it seems ) Luckily, there weren't any enchantment-stripping Mesmers around

The results were amazing. Check out the video here: http://files.filefront.com//;5512690;;/

This is my first time posting here so if I posted in the wrong place, feel free to move my thread...

Enjoy!

its a farming build... maybe it can farm dumb/unorganized players along with npcs. *shrug*

i dont believe anyone playing a rit in pvp would dream of bringing VwK as their elite.

also, aspenwood/jade are not considered real pvp by most, along with RA and AB...

edit: HOLY CRAP i just watched the video. can you believe the wars just stood there and took it like that?! i've lost ALL faith in humanity

Hi Amok:

Thanks for watching my video. As I said it was just an experiment. Usually I just buff and heal or use spirits (w/Rit Lord) as I should. I too was amazed at how the people that attacked me just stood there and took it. I chuckled when they just gave up and ran off. We lost the match but I had fun. I'm relatively new to the game so I wouldn't know what is considered "real" PvP.

If anyone remembers the link to the Resto Rit Farming build, please link it so I can give that person a hug

Can you post the build here for people that don't want to/can't watch the video?

Hi Jetdoc:

That's the problem as I don't know where I saw the link to that build on these forums. Anyway here are the skills I was using recommended by the author of the build:

Profession: Rt/Mo

Skillz:
Protective Spirit
Guardian
Healing Breeze
vengeful was Khanei (elite)
Vengeful Weapon
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond

Attributes:
Restoration: 12 + 1 + 3
Healing Prayers: 8
Protection Prayers: 10

Armor: Halcyon's (for energy)
Weapon: I'm using a Wayward Wand and Healing Ankh (from a collector in Vasburg Armory for 5 Dragon Roots) The author says it doesn't matter what weapon set you use since you are holding ashes most of the time.

Strategy: I was button mashing Vengeful Weapon, Healing Breeze, Guardian sometimes and Vengeful was Khanei when it was off cooldown.

Again, I apologize for not having the original author's link.

Cheers,
Pash Lumiere
